The IPC-based control system „RO-ControlPNC20“ provides a graphical interface for the user-programmable sequence control system (PLC) and the numeric path control system (NC). Both modes of operation are centralized in one logical unit, offering a system-integrated solution in a compact, modular design, which enables the best possible adaption to the customer‘s requirements. The programming environment and the user –interface are built on the standard Windows 98 / Windows NT platform providing all the advantages of a modern PC:

• Data base management
• Archiving/filing
• Data integration

Protection against faulty input, an extensive error- and status-documentation system on the PC-screen and remote control considerably simplify system operation. This increases the operational safety and the acceptance of the system by operating personnel and it minimizes the time for putting the system into operation.



Automatic packing plan generation...

In case of often changing product measurements and for the adjustment of existing packing plans, respectively, the software-package RO-PACK offers valuable support. After input of the new measurements RO-PACK makes suggestions for an ideal packing scheme and visualises the packing plans in 3D-presentation. Special wishes/requirements can be realised by moving the mouse so that the robot in the easiest way possible is being adjusted to new products and palletising schemes. The new packing plan data is recorded on the hard disk and available on demand.
