In a few days the 30th German Material Flow Congres will start in Garching near Munich. On March 23rd and 24th, in addition to presentations on innovative material flow concepts, a lot of other interesting topics are on the agenda. Robotic solution from SSI SCHAEFER and RO-BER receives the IFOY Award 2022!
We are very pleased that we were able to convince the international jury of experts and received the "Oscar of Intralogistics" in the category "Integrated Warehouse Solution" on June 30th, 2022.
Thanks to flat-pack-picking, large items that are typical for the furniture trade can be palletized automatically. The logistic solution jointly designed by IKEA, SSI SCHAEFER and RO-BER was successully implemented in the furniture manufacturer´s customer order distribution center.
Finished! A few days ago we completed the installation and commissioning of this new bulk storage system for plastic crates. With a total lenght of 41 meters and a width of 10 meters, the gantry robot has considerable dimensions. Integrated stacking and unstacking units ensure dynamic filling and amptying of the system, which can accomodate almost 9.300 crates. Sincere thanks to our customer and the entire project team, that contributed to the realization.

We all look back on the most unusual year we have had so far - in our professional - and our private lifes. Due to the great discipline as well as the responsible actions of our customers and the entire RO-BER team, we have come through these days healthy and unscathed. We would like to express our scincere thanks to all our customers as well as to our entire staff! In retrospect, when we say goodbye to 2020, we will always be reminded of it as a year, that has demanded us to a greater extend. The handling of complex projects under the adverse circumstances of the pandemic has been exhausting and has repeatedly confused the normal way of working for all parties involved. Even if these circumstance is likely to be preserved for a while, we are looking forward to the upcoming holidays and the year 2021 with great confidence.

Due to the current developments in connection to the Corona-Pandemic, RO-BER is also forced to reduce its customer service activities. Planned maintenance and service visits are cancelled and will be postponed indefinitely. We hereby follow the recommendations of the government agencies in North Rhine- Westphalia on the cessation of social interactions and thus make our contribution to a responsible and risk-aware handling of the current situation. Of course we will continue to provide support for you in case of emergencies or acute problems that have a significant impact on your day-to-day business.
With today's press release, Landesmesse Stuttgart informed about the official cancellation of the Logimat 2020. We welcome this decision against the background of current health risks and look forward to meet you at the Logimat 2021!
