Giant series gantries offer a compact and economical solution for large-ara storage / buffering of plastic crates (containers, KLTs or collapsible boxes) or products such as wheels, tires, empty pallets and many more.
At the infeed points of the gantry floor storage system, the products are ususally pre-stacked as partial/half or full stacks. RO-BER offers product-specific stacking and destacking units in the periphery of the floor storage system.
The robot gripper is individually adapted to the respective product range, whereby standard solutions can be used for certain product groups. If partial stacks are to be provided, the robot takes over the formation of the full stacks in the area. This can sometimes be up to several hundred square meters. The organization of the storage space is taken over either by a superimposed (customer) WMS or by RO-BER's own system.
