Dynamic storage system for wheel sets

Divided up into two gantry systems, each with two robot saddles from the Gigant range, unmixed wheel stacks are stored, while mixed and unmixed wheel sets are removed. There is space for up to 4.000 wheels beneath each of the approx. 54 m x 10 m large gantry robots. With each of the four special grippers it is possible to pick up the stacked wheels in the multiple grip and feed them from the customer’s product conveyance equipment into the warehouse, or transfer them onto the customer’s conveyance equipment from storage.  The ro-ber scope of supply for this project encompassed not only the robots and the material flow computer for managing the warehouse system, but also the stacking and destacking units for the wheels.
