Shortly before the final start of production in the Dutch town of Best, RO-BER is also on the final straight with the commissioning of its new palletizing centre for its customer VanLoon, one of the biggest meat-processing business in the Netherlands. With an hourly throughput performance in five figures, over a length of barely 80 metres, the output of more than 20 production lines is palletized and transferred to dispatch at an ambient temperature of just 2°C. From product transport technology with lift and stacking stations - all the way to elaborate pallet conveyor technology with double-decker transport carriages ro-ber, in close collaboration based on partnership with VanLoon, has created a complex palletizing centre that sets new standards in terms of performance and that gives VanLoon further scope for subsequent expansion.
